Lock Out

The new movie starring Guy Pierce (  Mike from Neighbours. fame and Time Machine,  oh and of course Priscilla Queen Of The Desert, )

I have to say I like this guys ( no pun intended ) acting sort of a John Mc Clane meets Ken Dodd and I mean this in the nicest possible way, he has shown a versatility towards comedy as well as rough tough action movies.

This being one of the later Lock out is a Movie about a bloke who is wrongly accused of something he didn't do, don't get me wrong he is no saint but in this instance the Law got it wrong. He is offered his freedom when they become aware that he has talents that could help them with a rather large problem they have, the Presidents daughter has been taken prisoner during a visit to a space jail. 

The prison erupts and the inmates take over the prison usual mayhem reprisals and slaughter abound , Snow is sent to rescue the girl and save the day maybe his name should have been Blisken?

Now for those avid followers of all  Sci Fi   will remember  Kurt The Smile Russell Plays Snake Blisken in the film  Escape from New York, the plot of which is remarkably similar to  this one except this prison is in space.    

But that was some 31  years ago in fact  and special effects being what they are now we should see some spectacular special effects, here is a clip from lock out  I found on Zmovies see what you think .
